Much unlike the highly organized and compartmented HOBI warehouses, the existing HOBI website had become a labyrinth of dead ends, false starts and convoluted navigation. At times it was hard for a user to tell where he or she was, let alone how to get to where he or she wanted to go. From the HOBI side of things, the difficulty of updating the site meant that content languished without update, and as a result the site went largely ignored by search engines.

Taking visual cues from the new logo and collateral, HCK2 developed a fresh new site on a Drupal CMS platform, allowing HOBI to exhibit, for the first time, complete control over their search engine ranking destiny. With sections designed for ongoing content additions dynamically populating the home page, HOBI can make the frequent updates necessary to repair and improve their relationship with Google. Semantic navigation and easy-to-use forms were also improvements over the previous iteration, all wrapped in a skin that communicates a technologically advanced environmental awareness.
